Łukasz Bałuniak
Full-stack developer · Next.js · TypeScript · AI integrations
I build whole products on my own: from the data model and payment integration, through the AI layer, to deployment and measurement. Every project below ran in production — with paying users, real capital or daily operational use.
Availability: Flexible forms of engagement — employment, B2B or contract.

Projects and architecture decisions
The short version for a technical reader. Full write-ups — with screenshots and business context — are in the case studies.
Fotarobota
Status: Commercially validated, archived
A paid AI service turning phone snapshots of products into studio-quality shots.
- Fire-and-forget: the API submits the job to the fal.ai queue and returns the status URL straight away, and the browser takes over polling — the serverless function never pays for waiting.
- Credits are deducted atomically (optimistic locking with retries) before generation — closing the gap that let several open tabs generate beyond the paid limit.
- Zod validation narrowed to URLs from the app's own storage, so the endpoint cannot be used to fetch arbitrary addresses server-side (SSRF).
- Autopay payment notifications (ITN) verified with a SHA-256 hash, answered in the XML format the operator requires.

Quantum OM
Status: Paused — pending migration to another exchange
A multi-agent AI decision system that traded real capital on Binance Spot.
- Five roles on three models at different price points: cheap models analyse every cycle, a pricier orchestrator settles only disagreements, and a unanimous, confident panel bypasses it entirely (Fast Path).
- The language model never places an order: its verdict passes through a deterministic guard layer — stop loss, trailing stop, cooldown and daily loss limits.
- The “umbrella” doctrine: capital gating applies to entries only and exits are never blocked — learned from the bot once getting locked into a losing position.
- A hard 8.5 s limit on the analyst panel, memory built from FIFO-paired trades injected into the prompt, and all exchange traffic behind a single adapter module.

Charon
Status: In daily use
An AI-assisted stock and sales system for reselling return pallets.
- Incremental manifest scoring with concurrency control, staying inside the 60-second serverless function limit.
- A manifest parser for PDF and XLSX files from different carriers, with header auto-detection.
- The write layer skips missing columns on its own, so the UI works before the database migration lands.
- Photo bundles generated server-side to get around CORS; goods intake designed mobile-first.

baluniak.com
Status: In production
This site: portfolio, AI order builder and automated SEO content.
- Order builder: Claude drafts the questions through structured output with a Zod schema, and a script takes over on failure; rate limiting and traffic-source attribution in the email.
- Content pipeline: Search Console and GA4 data pick the topic, Claude drafts it in two languages, and the draft arrives as a pull request flagged as draft — a human approves publishing.
- Google API access through a service account with a hand-signed JWT, without the heavy client library.
- Markdown blog with paired translations, hreflang, sitemap and structured data; the language version is chosen from geolocation in the proxy.

How I work
AI as a proposal, not a command
Wherever a model's mistake costs money, plain, testable code stands between the AI and the outcome.
Cost is part of the architecture
The right model for the job, redundant calls skipped, functions that never sit idle waiting.
Done means working in production
A change is finished when it works on the live site — not when it passes locally.
Security from the start
Input validation, payment signature verification, rate limits and key rotation.
